I got asked to do the Kraken around summer of '23 and was given a vague direction to go with it. The version I made did not end up being used, here are some work pics followed by the finished, unused figure.

After this I continued with the making the rest of the tentacles as well as the water effects at the base of the pieces. It was requested that I add a mouth to the front of it, something not in the art or requested at the start and ironically not on the final used figure. I decided to add a little sailor getting sucked into the mouth as a separate piece of detail they could add if they wanted to, but they outright did not like that.
