The Others: Death
Death was the second of the Four Horseman I got to do and I was dreading it, it's those wings. Feathers. Not a strong point of mine. When doing big figures like this the limbs can end up being like sculpting an entire figure in itself and the wings were pretty involved for me. Mostly because the art depicts them as moldering and sickly and I found out that to get that drooping and filthy look I was pushing dangerously close into hair technique territory and I began to worry that it was looking more like he had hairy wings rather then feathered. Hopefully he looks good to you all. And hey, look! It's those skulls again!

The Others: War
I got to be involved with the expansion for this game and got to do three of the main big monsters for this project. The first was War and here are the pics of the original. The ammo belts ended up being pulled tight into the body to help with casting and the gun gauntlet had to have a lot of back-fill under the barrels and turned into a separate part to help with the molding process. No back detail had been given so as per norm I got to add my own touch to the figure, I included an ominous cylinder sprouting from between his shoulder blades that has a radioactive insignia on it. I kind of figured War to be nuclear capable.
I'm including Adrian's art so you can see how well or poorly I kept to the art, hope you enjoy.

Little sins
I'm not sure what the official name for these guys are so my nicknames for them have been, "Hound" for Wrath...
...And "Meatball" for Glutton.
These guys are smaller then any of the major sins as you can see by the Zombicide figures I included for scale. I can't share the concept art since it hasn't been released to the public yet but I'll post it when it is.
So, ummmmm... Yeah. That's pretty much it. Sculpted in Fimo and greenstuff.

The Others - 7 Sins: Wrath
Edit: Since MR. Adrien Smith has posted the art for this guy on his Facebook account, https://www.facebook.com/artofadriansmith I'll post the picture here so you guys can see it too. This was the art I worked off of to make this figure. Daunting, yes?
Since Gencon is now over and pictures have been leaked I can finally show some pictures of some of the projects I've been working on the past year. I got sent the artwork for this guy around August of last year I think and was blown away to find out I'd be working from art by Adrien Smith! I mean, that's like a totally incredible thing for me. I've enjoyed his work for years, practically decades and when I was just beginning to sculpt had always wanted to do figures of GWAR after seeing the cover to Violence Has Arrived.
I'm guessing Mr. Remy Tremblay was taking a break because I can't think of any other plausible reason why they would trust me with this. He's done an amazing job on all the other figures for the line and if you want to see the "greens" for those figures check out his blog...
Anyway, here are some pictures of the sculpt. I'll see if everybody is OK with me posting the original art and the paint job on the studio figure is by Mr. Vincent Fontaine.
